Architectural Committee
The
purpose of the Architectural Committee is to provide guidance in
establishing and overseeing community standards while reviewing and
deciding upon change requests and modifications, as per the rules and
regulations of the Pavilion.
Families
living in Condos or Single-Family Homes (SFH) planning to make changes to the
exterior of the homes are required to get prior approval from the Pavilion
Board and in certain instances, may also be required to obtain a permit from
the Brick Township Building Department call 732-262-1027.
If
you plan to make interior structural changes, it is recommended you call the
Building Department first to obtain the proper information.

applications can be obtained by downloading the form on this website or by
calling the Property Manager, Joe Dyer at 732-903-7078
• Please
complete the forms in full
• Include a
detailed description of the work to be completed
• Include
drawings as applicable
• Include the
Contractors name, address, contact information and license number.
• Include a
copy of the contractor’s insurance certificate
• Include any
additional information you feel may be important in the Board’s decision

BINGO is held once a month on the first Tuesday of the month at 1:30PM. A free lunch is served prior to the game.

you may find that it enhances the experience to share your thoughts with others. Members share books and advise each other of
a new found author and offer suggestions for new reads.

Bowling
Come
try out or the Pavilion Bowling League. Ocean lanes in Brick
is our home “stadium”. It’s a fun
time together with friends and neighbors. No experience needed.

Bunco

Library
The
Pavilion library is a gateway to history, knowledge, culture, fantasy, fiction,
or whatever your imagination desires.
Our library is organized and well kept. The books are rotated by our
volunteer librarian, Mariette Muller. All Pavilion residents are welcome to come
and browse or select a book to take home. We ask that you return the book(s)
when you are finished. Please contact Mariette Muller, 732-920-1738, with any questions about the
library or regarding books you wish to donate.
Neighborhood Watch:
The
Neighborhood Watch Committee works with the local law enforcement to reduce
crime and improve the quality of life in the Pavilion.

Newsletter Committee
The Pavilion Buzzzzzzz
is the official newsletter of the Pavilion Adult Community. The content is
provided by the Board of Trustees, the Property Manager, and the newsletter
committee. Hal Mondrow, our editor, coordinates the
monthly articles, features and content. Senior Publishing, our publisher,
provides advertisers and formats the newsletter. All at no cost to the
Pavilion!
Want To Get Involved? The Newsletter Team
is made up of volunteers who:

Deliver copies of the Buzzzzzzz, once a
month, to each address in the community.
•
Write the articles
•
Submit photos of community events, scenic pictures etc.
•
Develop a calendar each month to display the activities in the
Pavilion.

Edit content of articles

Parties and Special Events
We
are looking forward to continuing the Pavilions long tradition of hosting
parties and special events. Some of the Pavilion’s favorite
include.

Pavilion Annual
• Luminaries
and Caroling – Holiday Luminaries are displayed around the community, during
the Holiday Season. While some residents participate in caroling, others came
out of their warm homes to cheer and simply enjoy the songs and music. Still
others are busy making homemade cookies and hot coco back at Le Club for
carolers and residents.
• Old-Fashioned
St. Patty’s Day Dinner and Dance-with a fabulous DJ for your dining and dancing
pleasure.
• Valentine’s
Day Party – sweets, music dancing and a DJ for great music.
• Breakfast at
Le Club – Neighbors and friends meet to enjoy our famous breakfast of delicious
Eggs in a Basket, French Toast, Bacon, Quiche, Croissants, crumb Cake, cinnamon
Buns, bagels, fresh Fruits, a variety of juices. Food to tempt any appetite!
• Superbowl Party – Everyone has a wonderful time watching
the game on our giant TV. The Pavilion
also has a Super Bowl Pool, where there is a winner every quarter. That’s in
addition to a Super Bowl 50/50. Tons of appetizers and a half time feast, add
to the fun of the Super Bowl Party.
• Seminars
with popular speakers including,
• Night Club
Series, such as “An Evening with Sinatra”, are always big hits!
•
Pizza and a Movie Night – Pizza and beverages are
served before the movie. Once the movie begins, you can munch on your favorite
movie treats as you watch and enjoy the presentation. Dessert is always served.
Fun for all!

Patriotic Observances – Neighbors come together to
honor America’s Bravest on Memorial Day, Freedom on July 4th and
Veterans Day are special days at the Pavilion. The Pavilion Caravans are
especially enjoyed by all, whether you are participating or enjoying the view
from your front yard. A live musical tribute accompanies the day.
•
Pool parties, always a resident favorite, to
celebrate summer. Enjoy catered BBQ’s, along with live music, that inspire fun
• ‘Hot Dog Day
at the Pool’, always a much-anticipated event!
Grilled hot dogs and soda, sold at a ridiculously low prices, great way
to enjoy lunch with your neighbors and take a refreshing dip in the pool!
Stitch and Bitch Club
The
ladies of Stitch and Bitch work year ‘round on projects such as sewing and
delivering items to Hospital for Infectious Disease, needy families in Ocean
County, and Veterans. They meet every Friday afternoon at 1PM in the Craft Room at the Clubhouse.

Travel Club
The Pavilion Travel Club collaborates
with several travel and tour
agencies to plan the trips that are offered to residents.
These
companies have the invaluable resources and expertise to
offer a wide
variety of travel options, at a discounted price. The Pavilion Travel Club
always offers a vast array of trips, which is sure to
please the traveler.

Welcome Committee:
Many new residents are eager to meet
their neighbors and become involved with the neighborhood. The Pavilion has a
Welcoming Committee which can assist you with these important items. The
Welcoming Committee works in conjunction with the Board of Trustees and the
Property Manager to compile a comprehensive packet of information that
includes:
• A Handbook with a copy of all rules and
regulations
• Information about
community amenities.

Women’s Club
The Women’s Club meets quarterly at Le Club. The meetings are interactive and informational. Guest speakers are on hand to entertain and keep you informed. Refreshments are served. The Women’s Club sponsors holiday luncheons at popular local restaurants. It’s a great way to make new friends and share some time with old friends. New members are always welcome!
